Arcotronics new product - R46 Special

We are pleased to introduce a new X2 suppressor in the Arcotronics R46 Series. This product is designed specifically to be used in series with the mains (275V). A common technical issue is that a Class X2 capacitor is good in parallel with the mains but not in series, because the performance required in series with the mains is much higher than in parallel.
The new R46 series has been designed with higher performance in terms of capacitance stability in severe ambient conditions. Details are in the attached data sheet. (May 2006)
